A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car on a busy Bradford road.
Emergency services were called to Harrogate Road just before 8pm yesterday.
The road was closed while they worked at the scene, near Aldo's Italian restaurant.
Police said it is being treated as a fail-to-stop collision.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services attended at Harrogate Road in Bradford at about 7.57pm on Friday night following a collision between a woman and a car.
"The woman suffered a facial injury and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
"She was taken to hospital where it was confirmed the injuries were not life threatening.
"Enquiries into the collision remain ongoing and anyone who saw what occurred is asked to contact the Western area Roads Policing Unit on 101 referencing police log number 1753 of December 20.
