PLANS to build a new housing estate on a former industrial site have been submitted to Bradford Council.
Buildings on the COS presentations site on Bradford Road, Idle, are in the process of being demolished after plans to clear the site were approved in Summer.
And now an application to build 14 houses on the 4,166 square metre brownfield site near Morrisons has been submitted by COS Marketing.
According to the plans, the new development would be a cul de sac made up of three, two bed homes, seven, three bed homes and four, four bed homes, as well as parking spaces for 29 cars.

The application says: “The mix of proposed properties reflects the demand in the area.”
It says leaflets about the proposed housing development were sent to nearby properties earlier this year, and there had so far been no objections.
A decision on the planning application is expected in late February.
Construction vehicles are currently at the site, demolishing the remaining industrial buildings.
