The Janazah (funeral) of a much-loved father and son from Bradford, who both passed away in a car crash, will take place tomorrow at 1pm, at the Grand Mosque on Westgate.

Abdul Farid, 41, and son Raees Kabir-Farid, a year 9 pupil at Beckfoot School, were on a family holiday in Turkey when it is understood that they were in a collision involving the vehicle they were in and a minibus.

Tributes have been paid to Abdul - who is believed to be originally from the Duckworth Terrace area before moving to Shipley with his family - and Raees, who has been described as "a great sportsman and top boy" by Bingley Juniors AFC, the football club he played for.

Councillor Arshad Hussain, a close friend of the family, said, "I knew Abdul for over 30 years. The loss is a huge shock for the whole community. Abdul was an amazing man who was always full of life."

"Raees was an amazing lad. He was really into sports and he was a great footballer. He was very popular amongst his peers at school as well as in the wider community. It's so sad that we've lost two fabulous people."

"I want to say thank you, on behalf of the family, to the Turkish authorities and the Bradford Coroners Office, who have been really caring throughout the whole procedure."
