The scene of the breakdown on M62
THERE are delays on the M62 after two lanes were closed because of a broken down vehicle.
The broken down vehicle has been safely removed to the hard shoulder.
All lanes are back open however there are still delays eastbound between Junction 26 at Chain Bar to Junction 27 at Gildersome with congestion to Junction 25 at Brighouse.
Lanes one and two of four were closed to assist with the recovery of the vehicle.
Traffic in the opposite direction can usually remain very slow through the afternoon however drivers may be slowing down to look at the opposite side.
The Highways Agency tweeted that its officers were dealing with the incident.
