YOUNGSTERS spread festive cheer at a Steeton nursing home.
Children from Bridge House Day Nursery & Pre-School (BHDN) performed their annual carol sing-a-long at Steeton Court.
Donna Barnes – senior manager at BHDN, which is based in the village – said: “We’ve been doing this for many years now but this time – with it being the season for giving – we took along presents of chocolates, biscuits, sweets and a Christmas flower basket to give to all the residents.
“The residents always look forward to the visit, but were particularly touched with this thoughtful gesture.”
Earlier this year, the nursery – in Skipton Road – retained its ‘good’ rating from Ofsted.
It was praised for the relationships between staff, children and parents.
