The vulnerable woman from Southampton, who has dementia and Down Syndrome has been found, Hampshire Police confirm.
This comes after an appeal was launched by officers, who were becoming increasingly ' concerned for her welfare'.
The appeal stated that Natalie Wait was last seen at Asda on Portland Terrace in Southampton city centre at around 9am today.
The 57-year-old was described as being white, between 4ft and 4ft 5ins tall, with short brown hair and carrying a Sainsbury's carrier bag.
In an update on Thursday afternoon, officers said she has on a black and white dress, with purple stripes, a multi-coloured head scarf, cream tartan coat, black leggings, black socks and black and white shoes.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We believe she could be in Southampton city centre, or she may have returned to the Portswood area or travelled on to Eastleigh.
"Have you seen anyone matching this description? Can you help us find missing Natalie Wait?"
