VOTING is underway for the Yorkshire Choice Awards 2020, with a number of Bradford individuals, organisations and businesses in the running.

Cleckheaton firm LMB Group, which picked up the Independent Business of the Year prize at the 2019 awards, has been nominated again in the same category, as well as for Charitable Business. In addition the firm's managing director Andrew Bean, who was also in the running last year, has again been nominated, this time for businessman of the year and local fundraiser of the year.

Tattoo artist Lucy Thompson, who runs a project to provide 3D nipple tattoos to women after mastectomies is in with a chance of being named Inspirational Individual of the Year.

The Yorkshire Choice Awards were founded by Melanie Malcolm and Jo Maltby in a bid to recognise and raise the awareness of local people and independent businesses that are inspirational.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Leeds on March 14, 2020.
