THESE shocking pictures of a crash on the M62 have been released by police.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway at junction 30 at 11pm yesterday.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said one person was trapped in the car and was freed by firefighters.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Single vehicle collision which could have resulted in serious injuries or worse.
"Instead we have a rather intoxicated driver. Sorry for those who were stuck in the closure."
