A CITY centre road has been closed in both directions after an elderly woman was knocked down by a car.
The incident, involving a white Peugeot, took place on Sunbridge Road shortly after 2pm.
The woman's injuries are not believed to be serious.
One witness, who saw the crash take place, described it as a "shock".
The woman helped the pensioner until police and ambulance services arrived.
Another witness told the Telegraph & Argus: "They've cordoned off Sunbridge Road, there's police on both sides."
First bus services via Sunbridge Road are currently diverting via Jacob's Well or Godwin Street.
While the Keighley Bus Company's shuttle bus and the 67 service is delayed due to the ongoing road closure.
