A FIRE that broke out in Bradford city centre last week was "accidental", although the cause of it remains "undetermined", West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service confirmed yesterday.
Last Thursday, clouds of smoke travelled across the city centre after a fire broke out in one of the floors above the Royal Bet shop on Bridge Street, opposite City Park.
Five fire engines were at the scene fighting the flames, and firefighters were damping down well into the following day, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Two of the fire engines were from Bradford fire station and they were joined by engines from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Leeds fire stations. Two aerial platforms were also used, as well as ground monitors.
The fire caused damage to buildings, although no one was hurt.
