A CHURCH has been filled with Christmas trees in preparation for its annual, week-long Christmas Tree Festival.

Fifty festively decorated St James have been set up in St James, and the church will be opening its doors for anyone wanting to admire the decorations each day from this morning until next Saturday.

The trees have been decorated by different charities and local organisations.

Visitors can leave donations to the charities in buckets throughout the church - last year the festival raised £5,000 for good causes.
