DO YOU fancy getting free tickets for your kids at Bradford Ice Arena? Then get your skates on...

From tomorrow, Saturday, November 30, to Saturday, December 7, Bradford Ice Arena will be offering 100 free spaces for children, aged between eight and 15, to try out ice skating. Parents and guardians will be welcome to join their children on the ice and free ice skate hire will also be available to all attendees. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is in association with webuyanycar.com, who have partnered with British Ice Skating, for the second time, with the aim to inspire the next generation of British ice skating talent and to offer families the opportunity to try a fun activity together this festive season.

Nine ice rinks across the UK will be offering free skating sessions, including free skate hire.

Richard Evans, head of technical services at webuyanycar.com, said: "We’re delighted to have partnered with British Ice Skating again this winter and 10 ice rinks across the UK to host this series of festive family events.

"At webuyanycar.com, we understand that people lead busy lives and finding time to enjoy quality time with the family is not always easy. That’s why we strive to offer motorists a quick and hassle free service to sell their car, so that customers can spend more time doing things they love.

"Over the years we’ve bought many thousands of cars from customers in the West Yorkshire area and we’re pleased to be giving something back to the local community."

Michelle Draper, CEO of British Skating, said: "We’re excited to be working with webuyanycar.com for the second time to support this series of events and to encourage people to try the sport.

"Britain has produced a number of exceptional skaters over the years and we’re always keen for new skaters to have a go, you never know when the next Torvill and Dean are going to come along!

"Ice skating is a great activity for all the family to enjoy and be active together. We’re on a mission to engage more people in the sport and hope that these events will help to spark a new found love for ice skating in those that are new to the sport.’’

The event is open to children aged from eight to 15 years old and assisting adults. Adults may only ice skate if assisting a child.

Each attending child and adult must have their own ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult to the ice rink and the responsible adult must stay for the duration of the session. Children do not require an adult to join them on the ice, however, if a child does requires support from an adult, it is the parent/carer’s responsibility to arrange this.

Tickets for the event are capped at 100 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For full terms and conditions, visit webuyanycar.com/ice-skating/
