FIREFIGHTERS remain at the scene of two fires that took place in Bradford last night, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
A blaze broke out in the city centre, in one of the floors above the Royal Bet shop on Bridge Street, which resulted in firefighters arriving at the scene and using aerial ladders to fight the flames.
It sent clouds of smoke across the city centre.
There was also a separate incident in Girlington, where there was a fire on Girlington Road.
The fire caused road closures in its vicinity.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called to the scene at 9.10pm last night.
Six fire engines, one aerial platform and supporting resources and officers were in attendance.
Police said it is not thought anyone has been injured in the incident.
This morning, a spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighters were still at the scenes of both incidents.
"Crews are still at both scenes where they are damping down", the spokesperson said, before revealing that they were unable to speak about the cause of either fire at the time.
