A LOCAL business has been granted permission to transform a former gym into a new warehouse.
The large Tru Gym on Worth Way shut last year, and earlier this year the Universal Group applied for planning permission to change the use of the building into a warehouse with offices and meeting room space.
The company, based on Guy Street, Bradford, specialises in audio visual equipment.

The planning application has now been approved by Bradford Council.
Works to the site will include new signage, security features and a refurbishment to the 1,758 square metre building.
A mezzanine floor will also be installed.
Planning officers said the new use of the site would be acceptable.
