ONE of the world’s top cheerleading choreographers flew in from the USA to put athletes from Panache Cheer and Dance in Bradford through their paces.
Texan TJ Maple visited Appleton Academy in Wyke and "inspired" 70 boys and girls with his wealth of experience.
Both teams are headed to the ICU World Championships in Orlando, Florida, next year.
Robyn Morrison-Charlesworth, owner and Head Coach at Panache, said: “TJ Maple is the equivalent of ‘pom royalty’, having successfully coached many of the biggest teams in the US. He is widely regarded as one of the best in the world to work with.
"For him to take time out to teach our teams was amazing and really inspired our athletes."
