BRADFORD Grammar School has been named as the fifth best independent secondary school in the North of England.
The school is listed as 146th in the country overall in Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2020, published in The Sunday Times this Sunday.
Students record an A*-B pass rate at A-level of 72% and A*/A/9/8/7 at GCSE of 71.8%.
It dropped from 107th nationally in 2018.
The 27th edition of Parent Power identifies the 2,000 highest-achieving schools in the UK, ranked by their recent examination results.
As well as assessment of all academic results on a school-by-school basis, Parent Power enables parents to compare the performance of a given school with other schools in the same town, local authority or nationally.
No state school in the Bradford district made the regional top 10.
