A new spa and fitness service is opening soon at Ilkley's historic Craiglands Hotel.
The Verbeia Spa & Fitness centre project will see 20 jobs created and an investment of £2million.
The Craiglands was built in 1859 and was one of the largest and best situated purpose-built hydropathic establishments in the country.
The first proprietors were the Dobson Brothers, one of them being Dr Henry Dobson, a physician who supervised all the treatments offered to patients.
These included mustard pads, massage, and all the latest Turkish, Russian and Electro-Chemical baths.
The systems, coupled with the "tonic" air from the nearby moors, had the effect of enhancing the popularity of the service provided by the hotel.
A spokesperson for the hotel said: "We have an array of top aromatherapy treatments, gym, studio, vitality spa pool, bespoke-made mud Rasul Chamber and sauna and steam room."
