SIR – I attended the Remembrance Service at Bradford Cenotaph and was pleased to see such a large number of people attending. There was a good mixture of young and old and ex-servicemen.

I however thought the manner in which some people were so disrespectful was awful. They talked through the service, including a group of servicemen who were laughing and talking. Where’s the respect for their fellow comrades and the people around them attending in memory of their loved ones?

If you cannot be respectful on an occasion such as this, for the sake of others, do not attend.
