This election is ho, ho, hopeless, says Simon Halliday
SIR – I hope there will be a Christmas tree in my polling station on December 12. Plus decorations, lights, mince pies, mulled wine, Christmas crackers, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, carol singers, a Salvation Army band and Father Christmas.
With a bit of luck, I won’t have time to vote.
