THERE has been a fatal incident on the railway between Shipley and Leeds this morning.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they received a call at 9.30am to reports of a person on the line.
They sent two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance and a hazardous area response team.
Trains on the Airedale and Wharfedale lines were being delayed after the incident.
All lines have reopened but due to displaced trains and crew disruption is expected to continue on services to Bradford Forster Square, Keighley, Skipton and Ilkley until around 2pm.
Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised as services return to normal.
Northern advises travellers to check their journey using the National Rail Enquiries.
Keighley Bus Company tweeted that it Aireline departures to Leeds are double deck vehicles to provide extra capacity due to the incident.
