A SPARK from a welding torch set some rubbish on fire which then spread to a conservatory, causing damage to a UPVC window.
Firefighters from Bingley were called to reports of a house fire at Hill Top Lane in Allerton at around 2.25pm.
The occupant had been doing some welding outside and a spark from the torch spread to some rubbish and then to a window of the conservatory.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, but neighbours had also used some buckets of water prior to their arrival.
No-one was injured. Firefighters stayed at the scene for around an-hour-and-a-half.
