Police said the car left the road and hit a wall, but there were no injuries.
Mr Sayeed, a workman at Federal-Mogul, in Neville Road, said: "I was at work and I heard a big bang.
"It sounded as though an aeroplane had dropped from the skies.
"I went out to check and there was a BMW X3 which had gone off the road into a fence.
"Its a bloody race track on Wakefield Road, two days and two severe accidents."
Lane one of Wakefield Road was closed from Sheridan Street to the roundabout while the accident was dealt with.
