A SPECIALIST flood team from Bingley has been sent to South Yorkshire again.
Bingley Fire Station houses a powerboat and two flood vehicles which can be deployed nationally, if needed.
A spokesperson for the station said the day team were mobilised to Sheffield and Doncaster at around 3pm yesterday.
Both areas were hit by torrential rain last Thursday, causing major flooding after the River Don burst its banks.
Many were left stranded in shopping centre Meadowhall after travelling for the annual Christmas Live event, which was cancelled due to the conditions.
Some areas in Sheffield and Doncaster were beginning to see floodwater finally drain away.
But there were heavy downpours overnight, with almost 150 flood warnings in place across Britain today.
Fishlake, in Doncaster, is one of the worst affected places in the country.
Machines were pumping 2.5 tonnes of water per second out of the Yorkshire village, according to the Environemnt Agency, as British Army soldiers helped reinforce flood defences.
The spokesperson for Bingley Fire Station said: "The crew will probably be there for another day or two."
