SELCO Builders Warehouse, based in Tong Street, Bradford, has boosted Marie Curie's Christmas Fayre with a donation towards the event.

The company was giving away a £250 Sainsburys voucher to be spent on a charity within a 12-mile radius of its base.

Selco employee Tina Robinson, who is also a volunteer receptionist with Marie Curie, suggested the voucher go to the hospice to help towards the fayre and the company agreed.

The hospice has been able to purchase additional supplies for the fayre and has given a huge boost to the appeal which helps raise money for the hospice.

The Christmas Fayre is being held on Saturday, November 30, between 11.30am and 1pm at the Maudsley Street hospice.

Organisers are still accepting donations and in particular need selection boxes and bottles of alcohol.
