POLICE have caught three drivers speeding after doing checks outside a school today.
Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team and Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Teams set up outside Beckfoot School, on Bradford Road.
They were there responding to concerns from residents, parents and teachers.
The road has a 20mph speed limit at the start and end of the school day, between its junction with Southlands Avenue and where it crosses the River Aire.
During the rest of the day, the limit is 30mph.
Three drivers had to be stopped and dealt with by the way of Traffic Offence Reports.
Two were caught driving at 40 and 41mph.
The other motorist was spotted driving at 39mph.
