POLICE investigating the double shooting in Liversedge have charged a 30-year-old man from the Dewsbury area with conspiracy to commit murder.

Khamier Masood will appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today.

The incident occurred on Huddersfield Road, in Liversedge, on Monday, November 4.

Two men, aged 27 and 22, received gun shot wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

Police have already charged a 32-year-old man with conspiracy to commit murder.

Umar Ditta, from Wakefield, was remanded in custody and appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court yesterday.

A 25-year-old man arrested on Friday and the 24-year-old man arrested on Saturday were earlier released under investigation in connection with the shootings.

Last Tuesday, the 27-year-old victim was discharged from hospital.

But he was arrested for an unrelated offence.

The 22-year-old victim was detained in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
