PLANS to build 14 homes on a plot of land in Baildon have been submitted to Bradford Council.
Steadman Brierley plans to build the four and five bedroom houses on an area of green land off Walker Wood - near Shipley Glen.
The company's application says the site is currently scrub land, but has previously been allocated as a potential housing site.
Access to the new development, which will be a cul-de-sac, would be via Walker Wood, another cul-de-sac. It will be created by the demolition of 41 Walker Wood.
Homes plan for Baildon clinic site is approved
There have already been scores of objections to the application, with neighbours raising concerns about the extra traffic the new homes would bring, arguing that the new development would spoil the area and harm local wildlife and demanding the plans be refused.
Others say the plans would reduce the appeal of Shipley Glen Tramway - a tourist attraction that the site overlooks.
A decision on the application is expected in the new year.
