The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for Yorkshire and the Humber for Thursday, November 14, as periods of rain are expected to be widespread.
The warning is for the period beginning at midnight on Wednesday and ends at 11.45pm on Thursday.
The Met Office has said that 'flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely', while 'bus and train services will probably be affected with journey times taking longer' and 'spray and flooding on the roads will probably make journey times longer.'
