A BRAND of sparklers has been recalled following recent incidents.
West Yorkshire Trading Standards has sent a warning out to raise the alarm with anyone who may have bought them.
A spokesperson said: "West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service would like to inform consumers that the Turbo variety of sparklers manufactured by Klasek are subject to a product recall after a small number of recent incidents.
"Trading Standards are urging anyone who has purchased these sparklers not to use them and to keep them away from any sources of ignition or heat.
"Additionally consumers should contact the retailer they have purchased them from for further information.
"If you are concerned about potentially unsafe fireworks or young people in your area being sold fireworks, please contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 03454 040506."
