An undercover female police officer posed as a drug addict to help snare suspected heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine dealers in Bradford, a court heard.

West Yorkshire Police’s Operation Precision targeted a number of ‘drug lines’ in the city which resulted in 22 people - 20 men and two women - being charged with Class A possession and supply offences.

Yesterday, 17 defendants appeared before Bradford Magistrates’ Court to answer charges and were ordered to appear before Bradford Crown Court on December 6.

Waseem Akhtar, 33, of Beacon Street, Wibsey, Bradford, pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing Class A drugs on April 18 and to 12 charges of supplying between February 18 and April 18.

Bilal Ali, 21, of Whitby Road, Girlington, Bradford, offered no indication of plea to two charges of possessing Class A drugs on April 12 and two of supplying on May 9 and 10.

Ziarat Ali, 35, of Glendare Terrace, Lidget Green, pleaded guilty to three charges of supplying drugs on March 7, 12 and 19.

Ammaar Arif, 30, of Cecil Avenue, Little Horton, Bradford, offered no plea indication to two charges of supplying and guilty to two charges of possession between March 7 and October 9.

Bilal Hussain, 19, of Priestman Street, Manningham, Bradford, offered no plea indication to one charge of supplying on March 26, in Bradford, and guilty to one charge of supplying on April 10.

Saira Hussain, 29, of Saxton Street, Liversedge, offered no plea indication to 12 charges of supplying between February 18 and April 18.

Azad Khan, 22, of Pearson Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford, admitted three charges of supplying on February 7, 12 and 13.

Shahbaaz Khan, 22, of Bempton Place, Little Horton, Bradford, pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing diamorphine and crack cocaine on March 4 and April 7.

Connor McCarthy, 27, of Bramley, pleaded guilty to eight counts of supplying diamorphine and crack cocaine between February 18 and 28.

Ibrahim Shah, 20, who is currently living in South Yorkshire, gave no indication of plea to four charges of possession and seven charges of supplying Class A drugs between January 24 and April 7.

Raza Abbas Shah, 21, of Gladstone Street, Barkerend, Bradford, pleaded guilty to five charges of possession and supply of Class A drugs on April 18.

Einaras Siberkstis, 19, of Newton Street, Bowling, Bradford, pleaded guilty to one charge of being concerned in the supply of diamorphine and one of supply on March 29 and April 3.

Leon Garvey Williams, 36, of Parsonage Road, Laisterdyke, offered no plea indication to seven charges of supplying Class A drugs between March 13 and April 4.

Fahim Hussain, 18, of Lingwood Avenue, Girlington, and Usman Hussain, 18, of Bull Royd Crescent, Allerton, pleaded not guilty to one charge each of supplying on April 10.

Darren Perrow, 50, of Rochester Street, Shipley, made no plea indication to nine charges of supplying Class A drugs between March 13 and April 16.

A warrant was issued for Kim Marie Bridgart, 42, of Cornwall Terrace, Manningham, Bradford, to answer one charge of supplying a Class A drug on March 29.
