THE following road improvements are planned by Highways England over the coming week.

They could be subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Drivers can follow signed diversions.

M62 junction 26 Chainbar – The eastbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight between 9pm and 6am on Tuesday, November 12, for barrier work.

M62 junction 29 Lofthouse to junction 30 Rothwell – The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Monday, November 11, for carriageway repairs. The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Thursday, November 14, for the same reason. The closures run from 8pm to 6am.

M621 junction 7 Stourton – The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be fully closed overnight between 8pm and 6am for five nights from Monday, November 11, for local authority work.

M62 junction 33 Ferrybridge to junction 32a Holmefield – The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Thursday, November 14, for bridge work. The westbound carriageway is going to be fully closed overnight for three nights from Monday, November 11, for the same reason. The closures run from 8pm to 6am.

M62 junction 33 to junction 34 Whitley – The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes, with lane 3 closed and a 50mph speed limit, until the end of this month.
