MARSHFIELD Primary School received the National Nurturing Schools Award yesterday, for demonstrating exemplary practice in nurturing.
The award, given to schools who complete nutureuk’s National Nurturing Schools Programme, helps schools to remove barriers to learning.
Anna Barker, Chair of Governors, said, “The delivery of a caring environment that embraces the welfare of pupils, staff and the community is of utmost importance.”
Victoria Hartford, Headteacher, said, "The school has moved forward rapidly and effectively with everyone."
Kevin Kibble, of nurtureuk, said "We are delighted to give Marshfield this award in recognition of their outstanding work."
