A WROSE resident's car was hit at Forster Square retail park and she is appealing for witnesses.
The unnamed woman said her car was hit by another vehicle on 23 October around 1pm, "near Greggs", before the culprit drove off.
She contacted police and said "Without the car's registration they couldn't do anything.
"I'm appealing for witnesses in the hope it might trigger a proper investigation. It has made me feel sick. I'm on a basic pension, even though I was an ambulance worker before I retired - I can't afford to buy a new car."
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Police said, "We can confirm that we received reports of this incident. Anyone who witnessed the incident can call police on 101 quoting log number 1053."
