WEST Yorkshire Police has warned motorists of overloading after halting a truck which was carrying triple the amount of skips allowed.
The force's Roads Policing Unit spotted the offending vehicle on Colton Road East, in Leeds, this morning.
Officers stopped the truck as it was carrying six skips on the back of it.
The vehicle should only have been loaded with a maximum of two, to comply with safe loading.
A police spokesperson said: "Vehicle stopped and prohibited due to the dangerous condition in which it's been loaded.
"Six skips is dangerous. Two's your limit."
