A YELLOW weather warning for prolonged rain through Thursday and overnight into Friday has been issued by the Met Office.
The warning comes into force from 6am on Thursday and lasts until 6am on Friday.
The Met Office warns that the rain may bring disruption from flooding.
It says there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings with a chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services and spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
