HUNDREDS of food items were collected for a Harvest at a Bradford primary school, in memory of the late Keith Thomson.
On 23 October, pupils, parents and staff at St Matthew's CE paid their respects to Mr Thomson, former treasurer of the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank, headteacher, councillor, and Telegraph & Argus environmental columnist.
Mr Thomson spoke on the environment at an assembly at St Matthew's in March, before he passed away.
Food bank representative Graham Walker explained how food banks help low income families and a tribute to Mr Thomson was made by Headteacher Kay Remmer, who said: "The children were enthralled by Mr Thomson when he visited. The food was collected to thank him."
