A 26-YEAR-OLD woman who died following an "altercation" in a town centre has been named by police.
Levi Ogden, from Elland, was pronounced dead in hospital after being found seriously injured in Silver Street in Halifax at around 2.15am on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police said a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody, as inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death continue.
The force said Ms Ogden (pictured) had been found unconscious following an altercation. Forensic experts examined the scene and detectives carried out inquiries on Sunday. Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police homicide and major inquiry team on 101.
A JustGiving page launched following the death has raised more than £2,000.
