ALARMING footage has emerged showing a group of yobs firing roman candle rockets from their hands into the street and towards shops.

The incident occurred last night, on Oak Lane, Manningham, Bradford, at around 7pm.

CCTV footage shows four individuals crowded round, with two carrying roman candle fireworks in their hands.

One yob lights another's firework and then wanders off, while a youth - who could be as young at 10 - attempts to light the other individual's roman candle.

This causes some complications, but eventually both fireworks are lit and the two yobs hold the explosives and aim them towards the street, cars and properties.

At one point, one of the yobs nearly hits the other individual.

The footage shows a firework fly inches past the head of the other youth in front.

A property owner on the street has expressed outrage at the incident and believes its only a matter of time before something more serious happens.

They said: "Just last year a young lad was hit by a car because he was running across oak lane after he threw a firework.

"This year, someone's going to get seriously injured if these fireworks carry on.

"These lads are aiming them at cars and people.

"There's children and elderly people walking on Oak Lane. They haven’t got any respect for anyone.

"These kids that are causing a nuisance with fireworks don’t listen to their parents, so how are they going to listen to us or the police?"

At the end of the video, the yobs sprint away from the scene with the roman candles still firing rockets in their hands.

The property owner said: "It makes me feel angry because this anti-social behaviour is really bad for our business.

"If they are throwing fireworks on the street then people won’t want to come in."
