Man chases police officers with a large kitchen knife and threatens 'to kill them'
POLICE have arrested a man after he chased officers with a large kitchen knife and "threatened to kill them".
The incident happened at around 10:45pm last night, in Otley Street, Keighley.
The 29-year-old male chased staff from the Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and specialist officers had to be deployed.
They were able to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.
The man was detained on suspicion of two counts of assault to an emergency worker and on suspicion of affray.
A police spokesperson said: "I am very glad our officers are going home to their families safely tonight."
Enquiries are ongoing.
