KIND-HEARTED supporters of a burgled shop have raised more than £2,000 at an auction.
This comes after £1,700 was raised on a crowd funding page for The Triangle, in Shipley, when it was burgled on Monday, October 21.
The art auction saw the community pack into the Bradford Road bottle shop to help buy extra security measures for the shop, including roller shutters.
Gavin Hird, who runs the business, said: "We raised over £2,000 at last night's auction and had a great time to boot.
"Thank you to so many folk that helped out such a great night on, we're gonna organise a big party in a few weeks to say thanks.
"We're truly humbled at the support we've received, what an ace community."
