KIND strangers and police are tending to a pedestrian who was knocked over in Hall Ings.
The pedestrian was injured after the incident which took place on the corner near Moes.
The crash happened at 13.45pm today and police and paramedics are at the scene.
Police are redirecting traffic heading into the centre towards either Bridge Street or Manchester Road.
A business owner nearby told the Telegraph & Argus: "I heard a crash. I think traffic was flowing.
"I've been working here a few years and I've seen plenty of crashes in my time. What you've got to understand, you're coming down a hill. They're going to be picking up speed.
"It's hard to know. It's like a blind corner. It's a bit of a blind spot."
