POLICE are urgently trying to trace the occupants of a car which crashed in the early hours of the morning near Wickes.
A grey coloured Fiat 500 was travelling along Swinnow Lane, away from Hough Top and towards the right hand bend at Wickes on Hough Tree Road, at around 1.45am.
It then left the road and collided with fences and the compound at Wickes.
Those in the car left the scene but it is believed they are all injured.
Enquiries are currently being made to trace them and officers are concerned for their welfare.
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information about those in the car are asked to call police on 101, quoting log 90 of Tuesday, October 22.
Two police cars blocked entry to Swinnow Lane, near Pudsey Road and Wickes, this morning with bus users and drivers facing traffic queues and delays in the area.
Teams have been redirecting traffic along the route and stopped pedestrians from walking down to Wickes on Hough Tree Road. All lanes have been re-opened.
