HANDMADE lanterns will light up Bradford's Lister Park on Friday 1 November, as part of this year’s Lister’s Lantern Parade.
Cecil Green Arts have four final sessions on 1 November at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery at 11am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4pm, where people will be able to create their own lantern for the event.
Lister Park – which was given ‘much loved’ status in a national award from Fields In Trust last month – will host entertainment from 5.30pm on the day, before the parade begins at 6.30pm, with food and refreshments also on offer.
The event is part of the national Museums at Night initiative which sees museums, galleries and heritage sites across the UK open their doors for evening events and night-time displays.
