THE UK’s largest dentistry provider, {my}dentist, has today opened its newest practice on Rosse Street in Shipley.

The practice is a result of a £650,000 investment by {my}dentist to move a previous practice in Saltaire, which was split between two buildings, into a single location that offers better accessibility for patients and staff.

The practice has five dental surgeries, all fitted with brand new dental chairs and equipment, all on one floor. It also offers a bright and modern environment for patients with digital poster displays and a comfortable and relaxing break area for staff.

Opening hours have been extended in the new location and it will now open Monday to Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.

All existing NHS and private patients of the Saltaire practice have had their care transferred to Rosse Street, and new patients will benefit from {my}dentist’s affordable way to access dentistry, {my}options.

Under {my}options, patients can access private check-ups, essential dental treatments and cosmetic dental treatments, with check-ups costing £32. They will also benefit from greater convenience with evening and early morning access and longer appointment times.

Shaun Wilde, {my}dentist Director of Region, said: “Our aim for the new practice was to provide our patients and teams in Shipley with a modern and accessible practice that will meet their needs now and in the future.

“With the launch of {my}options we’ll be able to see even more patients. We know that accessing NHS dental care in West Yorkshire is difficult which is why we have introduced {my}options, an affordable way to access a dentist when you need one.”

Suzanne Bellwood, area development manager, said: “The new practice is a huge improvement on our previous location and we can’t wait for our patients to visit. With longer opening hours and {my}options we can offer more appointments than ever before in our state-of-the-art practice.”
