A DOG who rode Bradford’s 620 bus after getting on at Bierley Lane bus stop is being held at a kennel where she is looking for a new home.

Yesterday, commuters looked on as the dog boarded the bus alone and patiently sat on a seat, before being taken off and held at Bradford Interchange, while social media was met with appeals for the owner.

Janet Burrell of Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue said that, "After no response, the dog was taken to Cliffe Kennels near Barnsley by Bradford Council Dog Warden."

"Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue heard of the poor dog's plight and have put a reserve on her so if she is not claimed within 7 days she will be taken into foster care, assessed and rehomed."

"We are hoping that someone will give her a home where she is loved and cared for."

People can contact Cliffe Kennels to express their interest on 01226 762391.
