HIGHWAYS are warning drivers to allow extra time when using parts of the motorway system as a series of closures and maintenance works take place next week.
On the M62, the eastbound exist slip road at junction 25, Clifton Wood will be fully closed overnight on Thursday, October 17.
The work taking place involves barrier repairs.
The closure will be running from 8pm to 6am and clearly singed diversions will be in place for drivers to follow.
Also on the M62, the westbound carriageway at junction 29, Lofthouse to Junction 30, Rothwell, will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday, October 14.
Highways has indicated the move is to carry out necessary carriageway repairs.
Again the closures will be commenced from 8pm to 6am.
Diversion signs will be in place but drivers are being warned in advance in order to allow for additional time to their journeys.
