CHILDREN’S book Stick Man, by Gruffalo creator Julia Donaldson, is heading for a Bradford stage.
The show, for young theatre-goers, which features illustrations by Axel Scheffler, follows Stick Man on a morning jog which turns into quite a misadventure, when a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire. Will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree?
Packed with puppetry, live music and funky dance moves, Stick Man is a touching, funny adaptation of Donaldson’s much-loved stories.
* The show is at St George’s Hall from October 21-23. Monday 3.30pm; Tuesday 11am and 1.30pm and Wednesday 11am and 1.30pm.
For tickets call (01274) 432000.
