THE University of Bradford has unveiled a new free course for budding business bods.

Project "Amaze Yourself", being run by the university, gives those between 18 and 24 the chance to take part in a four day enterprise course.

The broad aim is for participants to learn how to turn their business dreams into a reality.

The course includes visits to local businesses and talks from people in the community who have set up their own enterprise.

Participants will also work in teams to put forward a business idea.

A winner will then be selected and that group will taste success in the form of a day trip to one of the UK's largest cities.

There, the young entrepreneurs will enjoy a day of celebrating and experiencing what business is like in another city.

Mark Garratt, Director of External Affairs, University of Bradford said “This is a great chance for participants to boost their CV, build their confidence and gain valuable new skills.

"The course is completely free and gives young people the tools to create and run a successful business."

The opportunity is open to any 18 to 24-year-old in the region, with no previous experience or qualifications required.

Limited places are still available for the November courses.
