A CELEBRITY actor best known for his role in Doctor Who made quite an impression when he appeared at a cricket match in Oxfordshire.
Frazer Hines, who was Jamie McCrimmon in Doctor Who, was swamped by admirers who posed for apicture at Blenheim Palace in 1970.
The actor, who also starred as Joe Sugden in ITV soap Emmerdale, was there playing cricket one sunny Sunday for a match between a celebrity XI and an Oxfordshire XI.
He appeared to be so overwhelmed by all the attention that he had to get one autograph hunter to mop his brow while signing for fans.
