POLICE are appealing for witnesses of an assault which left a teenager with serious injuries.

The incident happened in Rhodesway, in the Allerton area, two weeks ago and left a 16-year-old with severe injuries to his face and one of his hands.

It happened between 1:30pm and 2pm on Friday, September 20.

Two males, both 16, were arrested but have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A police spokesperson said: "Detectives from Bradford District CID have spoken to a number of people about what happened and are now issuing an appeal to urge others to come forward to assist with their investigation.

"A grey Audi A4 was reported to have been involved in the incident and anyone who may have seen a matching vehicle in the area is also asked to come forward."
